the GOP administrations there are pushing highly unpopular policies, how can the GOP expect to win them? who are they kidding? The GOP governors there are loathed, for sure it will not help in the 2012 at all.



Florida - Rick Scott is the most unpopular governor in the nation, surely that would not help. Florida has the most number of senior citizens in the nation, they usually vote for the GOP, but now, looks like they wont because of the GOP under Paul Ryan messing up with medicare, how can the GOP win that state again?



Iowa - Gov. Terry Branstad is also quite unpopular. Obama is still highly popular in the state



Ohio - Gov. John Kasich's programs are hated by Ohioans, he is almost as unpopular as Rick Scott.



Michigan - same story, Gov. Rick Snyder is highly unpopular, also the Michigan economy has no signs of improving and the unemployment remains high.



Wisconsin - also extremely unpopular is Scott Walker along with the GOP legislature. He may even face recall in January next year. Added to that, Paul Ryan, the notorious medicare molester is from Wisconsin, I'm sure the people in WI would no longer want to be associated with this loser and he would definitely lose his district next year.



these purple states are crucial for them to win the election next year, but they messed it up totally especially in Wisconsin and Florida.

The GOP doesn't advocate useful policies, they merely fan the flames of fear, hate and misinformation so people won't use their heads when voting.

we need only refer to the 2010 midterms. all those states picked up con reps.florida is leaning rep as well as wisconsin, which has three dem state reps being recalled.
