Write a letter to the Governor about the fireworks law in Ohio.?

Im thinking about writing a letter to John Kasich (Governor of Ohio) about changing the fireworks laws in ohio. For those that do not know, all fireworks are allowed to be sold in ohio but not set off. Violation of this law can cause a 1000 dollar fine and 6 months in jail. This makes a criminal out of many hardworking people who just want to celebrate the colonies independence from Britain. I was wondering if you think a letter could help make fireworks legal in ohio? Please do not post a response about the dangers of fireworks, im not interested in your opinion on that subject.Write a letter to the Governor about the fireworks law in Ohio.?
Governors do not write laws, they sign them into law or veto them. Your better bet would be to write to your state legislator to write a bill.

Kasich is a good man but the power resides with each legislator, for an up / down vote through your state body before it reaches the governor.

you can find your legislator by using the search engine on the state's web site:

Use Right hand side of search screen type in Zip Code.Write a letter to the Governor about the fireworks law in Ohio.?
Long live the freedom of expression and the tradition of individual fireworks! Phoo on nanny state do-gooder big brother sissies and dingbats. Good luck with the repeal. If you figure out what works, share it with us in Iowa so we can start restoring liberty here too.
