I need to know because my friends and I are writing letters to Kasich about how passing the bill goes against our rights! Thanks!Senate Bill 5 (Ohio) goes against which specific part of the constitution?
Remind them of this:

I sympathize with your position, but I don't agree that it violates the first amendment. You can say anything you want about the company you work for. You can even peaceably assemble people who agree with you. But nothing in that amendment guarantees you the right to force other people to agree with you and comply with your requirements.
The unions only succeeded when they did because there was enough public support for them and employers were actually hampered from doing business if they didn't accede to them. Now, the public has bought into the propaganda that unions(as opposed to illegal aliens last week and welfare babies the week before) are the cause of all the country's problems. And unemployment is so high that employers can pretty much do what they want because so many people are desperate.Senate Bill 5 (Ohio) goes against which specific part of the constitution?
There is nothing in the U.S. constitution about an employer requirement to recognize any union, let alone incurring the cost to collect union dues against their will. An individual is free to join a union and pay dues if they care to do so. An employer is free to select and hire its employees and fire those who do not perform well at their jobs, such as going on strike or lying about being sick and walking a protest line. If an employee does not like employer policies about conditions of employment, they are free to find another job.
Why do you imagine you have a Constitutional right to use FORCE to make the general population deliver what you want?Senate Bill 5 (Ohio) goes against which specific part of the constitution?
It goes against "no" part of the Constitution...
No part of it does. I support such measures because they make sense for the taxpayers who are burdened with the costs.
