If Ohio is supposed to be a swing state then why do the Republicans lead the race by more than 10 points?

Because they prefer him over the other candidate. Just because they are 10 points ahead, A. in a poll, B. in one race doesn't mean they are a Republican state or not a swing state. A swing state means each election is not a guaranteed Republican or Democrat spot... it can change each time.If Ohio is supposed to be a swing state then why do the Republicans lead the race by more than 10 points?
Maybe the state of Ohio is showing us all the direction the swing is taking. If Ohio is supposed to be a swing state then why do the Republicans lead the race by more than 10 points?
I think that the republicans really need to focus in the area of the upper ohio valley. its a heavy democrat area, and although the repubs are getting stronger here, i don;t think they are strong enough to change habits here. Obama was in the area, but only selected democrats to attend the rally. Kind of stupid on his part, if he wanted my vote, he should have invited me to listen to him speak.
