What do you think about the right-wing anti-Union "Issue 2" being rejected in a vote just now in Ohio?

A great victory for the Middle Class and the Union workers in Ohio.

A great defeat for right-wing, class warfare against the middle class-loving, Sheriff of Nottingham Republicans. And a great defeat for the "Scott Walker of Ohio", John Kasich. What do you think about the right-wing anti-Union "Issue 2" being rejected in a vote just now in Ohio?
I'm so glad, I think people forget that the middle class WAS union, without it more and more people have slipped into the lower income levels.

I'm so happy to hear that, maybe us ordinary people have a chance after all.
Walker and Kasich are giving money away to people who are not going to create another job. The only way jobs are created is when demand increases. This does not happen when people have no jobs and no money.

Anyone who thinks that this is anything more than democratic voter suppression needs to have some serious time with some history books (see Jim Crow, see poll tax, see The U.S. Constitution) and some serious introspection. Neither of them explained how stripping unions would save a single dollar or put a single additional person to work.

If you don't want to work in a union, find another job. Good luck with that btw. The defeat was a great victory for democracy above all, and a victory for working people and the middle class. What do you think about the right-wing anti-Union "Issue 2" being rejected in a vote just now in Ohio?
Actually, the Middle Class will suffer and the Public Sector Unions in Ohio will continue to put raises over man power like they do every single time that negotiations come up. Take a look at what happened in Akron last year when the Police won the right to get raises and Akron had to cut other areas to pay for these raises.

I could go on, but the average Liberal doesn't pay attention to facts. Also, from what I understand the levies are going down in flames so where is the money going to come from for the Public sector unions?
Unions are not perfect. They are the only protection some have. I have been forced by many a company to work 60 - 80 hours a week with no extra pay. While there are some good American companies there are the large companies who care more about their shareholders and better yet their bonus. Nothing is perfect. Our system is broken but to take away the peoples rights will not help. This is a victory over the criminals who have taken over the Republican Party. You still have the choice not to take a Union Job. WAKE UP and this shows the American people will get it when it starts to affect them. The people will not put up with the Koch Bros soldiers promising one thing to win to only do the opposite. Governor Joe Kasich's 3rd week in office was to keep a promise to his campaign donor. The vote shows that his actions did not represent the people who elected him. Do you want the same type of Gov in your state. Elected officials are suppose to represent the people who elected them. A state or country cannot prosper if a couple of individuals make policy on how it affects their business. If you are Republican you might want to take your party back. Me I am an Independent who will do my homework before I vote. I love all Americans. Good work Ohio! I am particularly proud of you as Americans. What do you think about the right-wing anti-Union "Issue 2" being rejected in a vote just now in Ohio?
The GOP has overplayed their hand in quite a few States since 2010.

This Ohio victory is timed well since the emotions will continue to swell and move back into Wisconsin and other States as we move into 2012.

Gov. Scott in Florida has turned out to be almost as bad as Gov. Kasich in Ohio.

These GOP fascists moves will help Obama in 2012 more than the GOP ever imagined.
Goody goody. Now they get to be like Detroit. Idiots!

btw, I live in Wisconsin and I love Scott Walker, and he is turning this state around! Too bad it didn't work out for Ohio.

I know someone who drives a school bus, is FORCED to pay union dues, the same as teachers, but does not get one of the benefits the teachers get. How is that fair?
Unions can be just as greedy and corrupt as banks or corporations.. I saw a union leader defending bad teachers and saying they should be able to keep their jobs even if their students can't read. That is the ultimate greed, cheating thousands of kids over many years an education just to keep a incompetent teacher working.
Yay!

The tide of GOP hysteria and hate has been turned back!

The KochRoaches %26amp; their Tea Party Brownshirts are losing on every front, from Captive Cain to Kaptive Kasich.
Never figured out how liberals translate Union workers into "middle class". And regular middle class into "evil rich".
I think it shows who's really on the side of the American people.

The Republicans are out of touch with what the majority wants.
Not too surprising. For every Pro yes on 2 ad that was being broadcast telling the truth there were 5 spreading union lies.
you are the type of person who calls socialism "democracy"....just like the soviets and N koreans
I know a lot of cops and fireman who wished they hadn't voted for Kasich.
Union greed has destroyed the middle class.
People always seem to forget that unions are the only reason we have a middle class in this country.
Awesome
I believe in the Right to Work without a Union.
It was a great win.
Koch brothers, YOU'RE GOING DOWN!
fine, have it your way, staff cuts instead
Thank God, And may God bless our working people UNIONS are just organized labor. UMWA
I do not live in Ohio.
