What are the requirements to be a military psychologist?

I want to be a Military Psychologist and I was wondering what the requirements were to become one. Any suggestions for classes to take in high school? College? Medical School? I understand that you have to "serve" but I just want everything to be clear. Also, would you still be required to go to BT? Any answers are helpful. (Serious answers only please)

Thanks! What are the requirements to be a military psychologist?Civilian Psychologists

Air Force Psychiatrist

I agree with both of the previous answers, I want to elaborate a little . You have to have a masters in clinical psyh. as well as be licensed/certified. And to become an officer, you must meet all of the requirements to be an officer in what ever branch you choose. They are all fairly similar, but you need to research them all and see which one fits you best. As far as BT, you would recieve a direct commission, which means you would go to a course to teach you the very basics, but it is not nearly as intense as say OCS. They don't have to train you for most military activities because you would have one sole purpose. There is a large need for people to serve in this capacity. As for classes in high school, chemistry and biology would be helpful, in college your path will be pretty well planned out for you. You may also want to keep up on nutrition and exercise (you would be surprised how much these two things can have on a persons well being, physical and mental.) Good luck, if this is the route you choose. I hope this helps. What are the requirements to be a military psychologist? You have to have the required college degree/education to be a Psychologist, and you have to obtain a commission as an Officer in the branch you choose. What are the requirements to be a military psychologist?
You have to be in the military and also be a psychologist. What are the requirements to be a military psychologist? You would need a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology period. Nothing less.
