What is the crime rate around US military bases in the US?

Compared to cities without military bases, is it higher or lower? Can you provide a link? I have tried looking and can't find anything.What is the crime rate around US military bases in the US?Military bases have a much lower crime rate than similarly sized cities.



Much of this is the self-selection process -- they don't accept teenage criminals, therefore, they don't have alot of criminals on base.



The one exception to this is for sexual assault crimes. For the male 18-25 age group, the military rates run about the same as the civilian rates.What is the crime rate around US military bases in the US?You are going to need to be more specific....each base is different like each city is different.



Cavalier AB in the middle of nowhere ND is most like to have a low crime rate due to the fact they are in the middle of nowhere, vs LA Air station which is in the middle of LA.



If you wanted to focus on bases in a certain state/region, you might have better luck.What is the crime rate around US military bases in the US?All you need to know is that there is more killings in the U.S. than there is in Iraq by itself and I am talking about American soldiers.
