What military branch can an engineer with a low GPA join as an officer?

I have a chemical engineering degree with several minors like math and physics. The downside however is my low GPA. Around 2.5

I'd like to know what military branches would take me as an officer. What military branch can an engineer with a low GPA join as an officer? You have the pretty piece of paper with your name on it. That is all that really matters. To answer your question, the AF, Army, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard. Talk to them all, find out who will offer you the best benefits, and which you think you would enjoy more, and go for it. Best of luck! What military branch can an engineer with a low GPA join as an officer?
The Air Force ROTC program expects their candidates to maintain above a 2.0 GPA while they are POC. So I'd say it's safe to assume that if the branch with the highest standards only wants a 2.0 you'd be good elsewhere. You're going to need to be good on selling yourself to be selected for Officer Training School though. What military branch can an engineer with a low GPA join as an officer? That sounds great! I'll say talk to any Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, or Coast Guard. I'm a SGT in the active army currently MOS 19 delta 1st Cavalry Scout 4th BT. If you like engineering i'll say Navy or Air Force either way you need to pass the ASVAB which is a enlistment test which tell you what job you qualify in the military. GPA shouldnt really matter because the test tell the recruiter what you qualify for in the military. So remember Army and Marines are usually grounded troops they also offer engineering in some MOS. .Corps of Engineers, man!

Want a runway or road built through the jungle?? Just tell us where. What military branch can an engineer with a low GPA join as an officer? You have almost no chance in the Navy and Air Force.

They average around a 3.5 GPA for OCS or OTS candiates.

The Army or Marines, may give you a shot.

But 2.5 is awfully low to be competetive.
