What is the military family lifestyle like?

I am writing a paper about the lifestyle for a military family with children. I was a military brat and i dont quite remember about all the services. What are the different services used to help the families adjust to the new lifestyle of moving or help through a deployment. Do you think that more could be done or anything should be changed???? Please let me know all your feelings about this... I can't wait to hear what you have to say. What is the military family lifestyle like? Not sure for other services but the Army has ACS (Army Community Services) they can provide lots of assistance when moving. There is also a website called militaryonesource that is excellent as well. It is also up to the family if they want to be involved with other activities on post etc such as the FRG (family readiness group).

My sons' school also had a special meeting for children that had deployed parents to help them adjust (he goes to school off post). The whole community around here pulls together.

I feel everything is good that way it is. My son loves being a military brat. Kids can adjust to anything if the parents have a good attitude about it.
