Is the US Military doing a good job filtering out gang bangers that have no records?

I don't think gang bangers and street thugs belong in the military, even those without criminal records because they just haven't been caught yet. I don't want people like that to get training how to kill or hurt people more effectively. They are going to use such skill against their victims once they leave the military.Is the US Military doing a good job filtering out gang bangers that have no records?NO in fact there has been recent reports that the Military has hundreds of gang members serving. I have heard that some join to get the Military training only to get kicked out and take what they learned back to there gang.Is the US Military doing a good job filtering out gang bangers that have no records?well the truth is as the saying goes.. Innocent until proven guilty.. u can go out looking for gang bangers in the military with out them coming out and admitting it.. if you do look for them with out admitting that they are gang bangers the military would be discriminating.. U don't know who is a gang banger from who is not a gang banger.. I hate it, but ppl say I look like if I have gone to jail and I hate when people ask me that! yet I am a student in college working on becoming an MD no record of no kind.. will you through me out the military for LOOKING like one ?? (not in the military)
