What are the biggest challenges a military marriage have to go through and what 2 do in order to work it out?

I have several friends that are GI's married to another GI's and most of them are second marriages cuz maybe this time will help 4 them, and I know that sometimes they are deployed at the same time so they don't see each other. For the ones who have experienced this, how you manage it to work? And it's true that divorces are more in between dual military marriages than with civilians? What are the biggest challenges a military marriage have to go through and what 2 do in order to work it out?My husband and I were dual military for 6 years. We understood and knew that being separated from time to time was something we would have to learn to deal with.

Luckily we were both in the aviation field and usually were in the same battalion but different companies.

The military offers retreats etc. for married couples and if they need it counseling.

Not sure who gets divorced more but considering it was at last 50% overall does it really matter?
